The Story

Crankcase Ventilation Oil/Water Separator

This is the oil/water separator that’s included within the PPE CCV Oil Separation Kit. It features a highly efficient, multi-layer, serviceable stainless steel screen, which removes oil and water vapor exiting the PCV valve. The large one-inch-diameter ports reduce the velocity of the mixture passing through the separator, allowing the oil/water vapor to condense out of the mixture. This removal prevents nasty carbon buildup, ensuring your engine components remain clean and efficient. At the bottom of the separator is a half inch drain port, allowing for easy removal of contaminants during service.
